Like other business units in the EGVC is seen as a premier employer and takes great pride in a loyal, committed and skilled workforce with a rich heritage of honesty and integrity.
Strade oil production has grown into a Fortune 500 company. Beginning in 2020 with the acquisition of a refinery in Almaty we began building an integrated energy network in the oil market. Through advantageous acquisitions and other growth opportunities, we have become the market leader in Kazak. Our refineries, retail locations and logistic system supply all of the major Almaty and beyond.
Our growth-oriented mindset has also led to expansion into the Northwest. EGVC in 2023, along with the Northwest retail acquisition, we now own and operate 124,000-bpd of combined refining capacity, related multi-modal logistics systems and 31 retail locations.
There is a compelling need for sustainable refining capabilities and infrastructure. That is why we see ourselves as a critical element of the ongoing energy transition. In late 2019, we received our first unit train of ethanol in Washington via our new renewable fuels logistics system,
